How to Make a 3-D Heart Wall Decoration for Valentine’s Day

Have Paper Hearts Cascading Down Your Wall in Just 15 Minutes.

Here’s a pretty Valentine’s Day decoration you can do at the last minute to dress up a wall.

You’ll need red construction paper, glue (basic Elmer’s will do), scissors, a pen, and adhesive such as sticky tack (this is a good one here).

Fold the paper in half, then in half again (this saves time). Draw a heart shape on one side of the folded up paper. Cut out. You’ll have four hearts. Repeat in varying sizes until you get as may hearts as you desire.

Cut down partway from the top of the heart (see below). Make a slight fold on either side of the cut.

Glue the folds together and hold while it dries. This bumps out the paper to get the 3-D heart look (see below).

Stick to a wall using a removable sticky tack, such as this one pictured at right, which is non-toxic and reusable.
