Fun Way to Hide a Valentine’s Day Gift!

It’s Valentine’s Day and you’ve set the mood with music, candles, wine, flowers, chocolate, and now comes the gift.

Just imagine his or her face when he unwraps a hardcover book. A rather crappy one at that.

They won’t want to show their disappointment (although they will), they’ll gamely flip through a few pages while saying something like, “Honey … wow … I don’t know what to say.”

Then imagine the look when they come across the secret inside — the hollow you created to hide that special piece of jewelry or handsome watch or what have you. Ah, good times.

This Valentine’s Day recreate that scene with a hollowed out book gift box. (Of course, you can use this idea for any occasion, anniversary, birthday, Christmas … )

We said above it was a crappy book, and there are two reasons for that. One, you don’t want to destroy a good book, even if you have already read it. After all, a book like that you’d give away for someone else to enjoy. Two, the crappier it is, the more his or her face will fall! Hee, hee.

Check out the video below to see how it’s done.
