We’re spilling the beans on an super-simple Thanksgiving centerpiece you can put together in minutes. All you need are six clear glass bottles (or mason jars, bowls, vases), candles, lettering, ribbon, and some dried legumes and grains. Easy pea-sy!

To make your holiday centerpiece colorful, use six different colored dried foods, for example, split peas, black beans, popcorn, lentils, red beans, and barley. Don’t have barley? Use rice. No popcorn? Use chickpeas or yellow split peas. You get the idea.

Say “thanks” however you please — cut letters out of colored paper, use scrapbooking chipboard letters, or paint them on.

Fill your clear containers, leaving room for the candles, which you want to push down firmly so they’re stable. Use flameless or LED taper candles to preserve your dried goods. If you use real candles, cut a circle of cardboard to size to keep dripping wax off your food.

Tie pretty ribbon, or twine for a more rustic look, around the mouths of the bottles.

That’s it! Now you have a pretty display that puts the “thanks” front and center on your holiday table.
