Give a New Piece A Weathered Look

Whether you bought a brand new piece or picked up a thrift store find, you can give it more character with an antiqued look.

One way to do this, suggests Better Homes & Garden, is by using blue milk paint applied with a dry-brush paint technique, then rubbing on antiquing glaze. Switch out the drawer pulls, if needed, for ones with a vintage feel, like these two examples.   .
