Learn How to Make Your Own Pull-out Cabinet
Need more space in your kitchen? Here’s a clever solution that utilizes that little gap between the fridge and the wall.
Obviously, the dimensions will vary, depending on how much wiggle room you have between the refrigerator and whatever it’s wedged into. But even if it’s just 3 inches, it’s amazing how much it will hold. All those small items, spices, little cans, thin boxes, what have you, will free up a ton of room in your cabinets that you can use to store larger items.
Matching the height of the fridge makes for an attractive and unobtrusive look. Figure out what you have clogging your kitchen cabinets that could fit this narrow area and plan out the height of your shelves accordingly. Be sure to leave room for getting things in and out easily, and also account for the height of the casters in the overall dimensions. (Speaking of casters, get the heavy-duty flat-ball type.)
