… Or Is it?

This beautiful headboard looks like it might have started life on a barn. But it’s crafted from new materials. The salvaged hardware and charming lanterns help give it a rustic look.

The project is by Jim and Mary of Old World Garden Farms. They used store-bought tongue-and-groove boards and trim wood. All together, it took just 4 hours to create this handsome headboard.

We built it as two separate door frames and then attached them together once in the bedroom. It made it easier to move and work with, not to mention fit through tight hallways!

The separate door frames are secured together with boards attached to the back.

Reclaimed barn track pulleys and old lanterns complete the look.
